Do you know someone who seems to exhibit digital addiction, constantly checking their social media? In this 10-minute play, students Isabella and Klara illustrate a typical scene of digital addiction in everyday life, its effects, and prospective solutions. The play includes an excerpt from TEDx LagunaBlancoSchool with Dino Ambrosi to supplement the educational lesson.

A 10-Minute Educational Play on AI Algorithm Bias in Job Recruitment

Algorithm bias in artificial intelligence is an issue in several contexts. In this 10-minute play, students Isabella and Klara raise awareness of gender and word bias in some AI systems used in job recruitment. They explain how such biases can negatively impact employers. Finally, watch how responsive and responsible employers might correct such biases in their AI systems. The play includes an excerpt from a TEDx Warwick talk to supplement the educational lesson.

A 10-Minute Educational Play on Workplace Surveillance

This 10-minute play was created by students, Klara and Isabella, in a course on Social Issues in Computing to illustrate a realistic, hypothetical scene on the use of worker productivity surveillance; the social issues that can arise from such surveillance; and prospective solutions. The play includes an excerpt from an NBC's Today Show segment on "How Companies Track Their Workers" to supplement the educational lesson.
